Along with Soundgarden, one of the heavier bands to come out of the Seattle Grunge scene of the 90's. You won't find any power ballads on this album, just hard driving and often melodic songs like "Dam That River", "Rooster" and "Would?". Most of the songs are about Layne Staley's achilles heel, heroin.
